Eric Tegler Wins Washington Automotive Press Association’s Golden Quill Award

The Washington Automotive Press Association (WAPA) awarded Autoweek contributor Eric Tegler with the annual Golden Quill Award. Tegler was honored for his timely article regarding the potential security vulnerabilities present in modern vehicle control software.

“Cyber security was front and center in 2013,” said WAPA President Melanie Batenchuk. “Eric’s piece was thought-provoking and relevant, and we felt he should be recognized for it.”

Each year at the Washington Auto Show, WAPA recognizes an exemplary journalist with the Golden Quill Award for their work covering the automotive industry. It can be a single article or a series of related articles published in the previous year.
